Our standard

Academic integrity statement

Praxis offers consultation, editing, research support and skills development. Every service is designed to help you produce better work that is genuinely your own — protecting both you and the value of your qualifications.

What we do

  • Consult on research questions, design, methods and analysis
  • Explain concepts, techniques and software so you can apply them yourself
  • Review drafts and give structured, written feedback
  • Edit language, clarity, structure and formatting
  • Help you plan applications, publications and next steps
  • Prepare you for interviews, presentations and defences

What we never do

  • Write assessed work — essays, assignments, theses or exams — for submission under your name
  • Complete coursework, tests or online assessments on your behalf
  • Fabricate, falsify or selectively report data or results
  • Impersonate you or misrepresent authorship
  • Invent experiences, achievements or references in application documents
  • Guarantee admission, publication, scholarships or grades

Authorship and acknowledgement

For research outputs, authorship and acknowledgement follow the standards of the journal or institution concerned — for example ICMJE criteria. Where editorial, statistical or writing support should be acknowledged, we will tell you and provide suitable wording.

Your institution’s rules come first

Universities differ in what external support they permit, particularly for assessed work. Please check your programme’s regulations; if a request would breach them, we will say so and suggest an acceptable alternative.

Data and results

Analysis support always uses your genuine data. We help you choose methods and interpret results correctly; we never generate, alter or “improve” data or findings.

Confidentiality

Your documents and data are used only for your project, never reused for other clients and never shared. Confidentiality, data handling and revision terms are stated before work begins.

If a request crosses the line

We will decline that part of the work, explain why, and — wherever possible — offer a legitimate alternative such as consultation, feedback or skills support. Questions about this statement are welcome at hello@praxis.example.
